4 Greenburgh teens plead guilty in sexual attack on 15 year old

WHITE PLAINS — Four Greenburgh teenagers admitted in court today that they acted together to sexually attack a 15-year-old girl at a summer drinking party in a Hartsdale apartment.

Tremayne Lee, 18, Daquan Clark, 17, and Alfred Mangoli, 16, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual act for forcing the girl to perform oral sex at a July 23 drinking party after summer school classes had let out.

A fourth defendant, Omar B. Dancy, 17, pleaded guilty to a reduced count of first-degree attempted criminal sexual act.

Westchester County Judge Jeffrey A. Cohen said the only reason he accepted the defendant plea bargain was because the traumatized victim did not want to testify at trial, nor did her family.

Prosecutors said Mangoli, who hosted the party at 75 N. Washington Ave., offered the teens alcohol and stood by as his friends molested the girl for more than an hour, forced her to perform oral sex and tried to rape her. The girl tried to scream and kick to fight them off but was outnumbered.

The four teens had been facing a 23-count indictment that included multiple felony sex charges, including attempted rape and sexual abuse.

Relatives and supporters of the four teens were in the courtroom for the disposition, in which each one admitted to aiding and abetting the others to abuse the girl.

Magnoli agreed to serve 10 years of sex offender probation for his role in the crime. Clark and Lee agreed to serve 15 months to four years in state prison. All three will be sentenced as youthful offenders, meaning their convictions will be sealed.

Darcy will serve 3 1/2 years in state prison and was not given youthful offender status because he violated probation on a conviction for which he was considered a youthful offender. His sentence for the sex attack and for the probation violation will run concurrently.

The judge set a sentencing date for March 10 and issued permanent orders of protection barring the boys from contacting the girl or her family.
