HARRISON — Former New York Knicks basketball star Stephon Marbury was cited by police Sunday for, police said, driving with a suspended license.
Marbury, 33, of Purchase was traveling north on North Street when he was seen weaving left to right and crossing the double yellow line, police said.
Marbury then drove onto the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway and exited in Purchase, police said.
As he turned left onto Purchase Street he continued to weave over the double yellow line, police said.
An officer stopped Marbury and found that his license had been suspended .
Marbury was summoned for aggravated unlicensed operation.
He played for the New York Knicks from 2004 to 2009. He currently plays for the Shanxi Zhongyu Brave Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association.
