WHITE PLAINS — A Valhalla man accused of slugging and kicking another man inside a city bar was charged with felony assault early Saturday.

Police were called to the Thirsty Turtle bar, 201 E. Post Road, shortly after 2 a.m., on a report of a man bleeding. They found the victim, a 21-year-old White Plains man, with blood all over his face. The man said another man had hit him and kicked him for no reason a short time earlier.

Bar employees pointed out the alleged attacker to police, who arrested him after a brief investigation.

Andrew Kish, 23, of 21 Lakeview Ave., was charged with second-degree assault.

The victim was taken by ambulance to the White Plains Hospital Center emergency room, where he was in good condition. Police said he will have to undergo plastic surgery to repair his injuries.
