Yonkers bank robbery suspect [PHOTO]


 

YONKERS — Police today released a photo of the man they believe robbed $6,000 from Webster Bank last week.

The suspect, seen in a surveillance photo during the 5:45 p.m. Thursday robbery at the 760 McLean Ave. bank, is described as a thin black man between 5 foot 8 and 5-foot 10, wearing a gray jacket, a baseball hat and black gloves.

The money bag the teller gave him was sabotaged with red dye packs timed to go off after he left the bank, police said.

Police asked people to be on the lookout for a man with red-stained clothes or for money stained red.
